Structure and humanity in balance
Da Vinci understood that the human form and the structures around it must be in balance. So must organisations.
Most organisations have built the structure — the governance, the systems, the processes. What is missing is the balance: the human conditions that make the structure actually work.
That is the gap Ignited AS exists to close.
The Inner Loop
Da Vinci drew the human figure inside a circle — continuous, alive, always in motion. That circle is the living system — the relational environment that surrounds every person.
Inside every person, signals from the environment move through a continuous inner loop, asking two questions — Am I safe? Do I matter? — and answering them constantly, whether we are aware of it or not.
These answers shape how people feel, how they think, and how they behave. They determine how much of their capacity is available at any given moment.
When signals are positive, capacity expands. When they are threatening or absent, capacity contracts — and even talented people underperform.

The Outer Structure
Around that same figure, Da Vinci drew a square — precise, bounded, structural. That square is the organisation.
Every organisation has a structure: direction, governance, risk, compliance, and performance. Alongside the formal structure sits the living system — the relational layer of tone, dialogue, and unwritten norms that surrounds every person at work. Both layers send signals. Both answer the same two questions.
Both layers send constant signals. Those signals tell people whether they are safe and whether they matter — and they determine how much capacity is available at any given moment.
When the person, the relational environment, and the formal structure are in balance, human capacity flourishes.

The inner loop, the living system, and the outer structure are not three separate things. They are one. When that system is coherent, what becomes possible is not incremental — it is transformational.
Two questions. One framework. Unlimited potential.
